This year’s Symposium featured leading Canadian issuers like Avenue Living Asset Management, one of the largest private real estate owners/operators in Western Canada, and Levante Living, a leading owner/operator of long-term care facilities and adult-based residential communities. Attendees heard from alternative investment industry experts, including discussions on award-winning solutions designed to achieve above-average, risk-adjusted returns and help hedge against inflation and public market volatility. The Symposium also introduced Invico’s new fund, the Invico Secondaries 2022 LP, which is being offered in exclusive partnership with Morgan Stanley Investment Management. The new fund provides a unique hybrid strategy that focuses on hedge fund and private equity fund secondaries, two complementary strategies with attractive risk-adjusted and liquidity-adjusted returns. Lastly, we are pleased to share that with the first ten registrants of each city in the event series being offered a $50 tax-deductible donation to the charity of their choice, this year’s participating fund management firms will donate $2,500 to local and national charities on behalf of this year’s attendants.
